UHMWPE – Polyethylen mit ultrahohem Molekulargewicht, ist eine Faser, die sich durch eine sehr hohe Festigkeit bei gleichzeitig geringem Gewicht auszeichnet. Es wird gesch\u00e4tzt, dass Produkte aus diese Faser siebenmal st\u00e4rker als Stahl mit dem gleichen Gewicht sind. Sie zeichnen sich durch eine sehr gute Best\u00e4ndigkeit gegen Reibung, Sonnenlicht und chemische Substanzen aus.<\/p>\n

Seine Eigenschaften machen es perfekt f\u00fcr B\u00e4nder und Kabel, die im Freien verwendet werden. UHMWPE wird in Kitesurfleinen, bei der Herstellung von Fallschirmen, in Segellinien, Windsurfen, Klettern oder sogar als Schleppleinen verwendet.<\/p>\n
